You probably can't tell me what energized you last week.

Not because nothing did. I'm sure something sparked a little joy. But the days blur, that inbox keeps filling up, and by Friday you're more tired than you should be for the work you actually got done.

That's the strange thing about misalignment. It doesn't announce itself. It shows up quietly as fatigue and irritability. A nagging sense that something's off. You might think you just need a vacation. But what you actually need is to see clearly what's out of whack.

That's hard to do when you're inside it.

So I built you something that will help.

It's called the Alignment Quiz, but it's really more like a mirror than a test. No wrong answers. Just an honest look at what your work is actually doing to you right now.

It's twelve simple questions you can answer in less than five minutes. No email sign-up, no strings attached. Just instant results.

Misalignment is the early warning before burnout

Burnout is serious. It's a real condition with real consequences. It's not just about being tired. It's exhaustion that doesn't let up. Recovery takes months. Sometimes longer. In my case... more than a year.

Misalignment is the early warning sign. It comes before burnout. Way before.

It's the slowly widening gap between how you're wired and what your week actually looks like. Maybe the work hasn't broken you yet. But it's pulling against you in ways you can feel — even if you can't quite name it.

This is the window I care about. Because misalignment — caught early — can be corrected. You don't need to leave your business or change your life. You usually need a few specific shifts in what you say yes to and how you spend your week.

That's the whole reason I built the Alignment Quiz. The earlier you can see the drift, the smaller the correction. Most of the entrepreneurs I work with didn't realize how far they'd drifted until the symptoms got really loud. By then, they were already months into it.

The Alignment Quiz is for the moment before burnout. When you can still feel that something's off but the wheels haven't come off yet. Catching it now is what prevents catching it later.

What the alignment quiz actually measures

The quiz gives you a clear read on two things at once:

  1. How the work is sitting with you right now, and
  2. How well the work itself is built around how you're wired.

Those two pieces don't always move together. You can love your work and still feel drained by how you're spending your week. You can be in the right industry, working with the right people, and still be doing the wrong shape of work for who you are. The Alignment Quiz separates the two so you can see which one is actually pulling on you.

If you lead a team, we'll show you that dynamic, too. You'll see your own picture first, then the team's. The same truth holds at the team level. A team can be drained even when individual members look fine. And a leader can be thriving while their team is quietly slipping.

What you get when you finish the alignment quiz

You'll come out with one of four reads on where you're at — Thriving, Stretched, Drained, or Misaligned — and a sense of what to do about it.

Thriving means you've got something working. The job is to see what it is so you can protect it.

Stretched is the early warning. Fit is starting to slip but it hasn't broken yet.

Drained means it's slipped further and something specific is pulling on you.

Misaligned is when the work has stopped feeling like yours, and small adjustments aren't going to put it back together.

Ready for a look in the alignment mirror?

Remember, this isn't a test. There's no diagnosis. No judgement about whether you're "doing it right." Just a crystal clear reflection of what's working with you and what's working against you.

If you have five minutes, you can take it now. Then, sit with it for a bit.

And when you're ready, let me know how it landed. I'm in your corner, and I'm genuinely curious to hear what you feel after seeing your results!
